It’s no laughing matter that since the 1999-2000 season, it’s been season after season every season. As Brad “The Bruiser” tells people every day; you know you’re talking to a real fan if you talk to a Bills fan, but only real fans could deal with a 17 season playoff drought.

Brad “The Bruiser” Eichkorn awoke from a nap on Friday August 11th to the sirens surrounding the Watkins and Darby trades. Brad loved having Sammy Watkins and Ronald Darby on the Buffalo Bills. However, as the evening and weekend progressed; the trades made sense. Not only for the future of the Buffalo Bills, but to the 2017 season.

As we continue to get closer to week one of the 2017 NFL season, another blow hits the Buffalo bills receiving corp; the retirement of Anquan Boldin. However, just like his signing; his retirement is a name driven headline. We will discuss this at more in depth lenghts in the early goings of this week’s podcast.

So, despite Boldin’s retirement being the latest  “blow” to the Buffalo Bills’ roster; Brad “The Bruiser” Eichkorn and Alex Jones remain positive. Yes, with Sammy Watkins gone and Anquan Boldin recently retired, as far as receivers, optimism may be all we have left. Does that mean the 2017 is a loss, and Bills fans should hibernate through the 2017 season? Heck no. On this week’s episode we give Bills fans a reason to BILLieve!

Topics for discussion on this week’s podcast include:

  • Boldin’s retirement
  • The current receiving corp
  • Free agent WR worth targeting
  • Offensive Strengths
  • Bills Defense a potential top 5 D?
  • The McDermott Effect
