Buffalo Bills Won’t See Robert Woods Return Next Season
As many expected, the Buffalo Bills wide receiver corps got even thinner today with Robert Woods officially leaving the organization.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Robert Woods will sign a 5-year, $39 million dollar deal with the Los Angeles Rams, which will include 15 million guaranteed. He spent his entire four-year career so far with the Buffalo Bills.
The choice to join the Rams, and return to the state of California, was certainly aided by the fact that Woods grew up in Gardena, California and then attended USC. Woods will once again get to play in front of crowds in the historic Coliseum.
Woods lead the Bills in receiving this season, catching 51 passes for 613 yards. This year, Woods was thrust into the WR1 position early and often, as injuries plagued the rest of the WR corps.

This marks the third wide receiver that has left the Bills roster in the last 24 hours, as Woods follows Goodwin and Easley out of One Bills Drive. Free agency is still young, so the Bills have time to add to their WR unit before they have an opportunity to add some receiver talent in the draft.
