EA Sports has released their initial player ratings for the newest Madden, which comes out on August 23, 2016. How do the Buffalo Bills Madden 17 ratings stack up this year?

If you’re a football fan and haven’t played Madden before, I’m not sure if you’re a real football fan. For those who are as hooked to the game as I am, you’re probably curious about how the Buffalo Bills stack up in Madden 17 — as far as the player ratings go.

Well, good news arrived when EA Sports released their initial player ratings for Madden 17 and man, do the Bills have a pretty nice roster. Although only one player managed to break the 90 rating, 11 players received a rating above 80.

Those ratings aren’t as good as their Madden 16 ratings, which saw 15 players rate at 80 or higher and 3 players rate above a 90. However, it’s important to note that of those 18 players, 4 of them are no longer with the team — Mario Williams, Leodis McKelvin, Fred Jackson and Nigel Bradham — and one of them retired — Percy Harvin.

It’s also important to note that these ratings are updated throughout the season and are subject to change according to how their season goes. With that being said, and looking at the hype surrounding the team — the Bills should see themselves with more players rated above 90 and even more that hit the 80 mark.

Without further ado, let’s take a look at the Bills’ top players rated in Madden 17.

Richie Incognito: 90 OVR, 88 AWR, 71 SPD, 76 ACC, 54 AGI, 92 STR

With room for improvement, I’m sure we will see even more players with a high rating as training camp continues, pre-season gets underway and we prepare for the regular season.
