Can Cardale Jones Be A Franchise QB For The Bills?
By Dennis Moody
YES He Can!
According to the below tweet from Chris Brown of BuffaloBills.com, GM Doug Whaley believes that Cardale can develop into a franchise quarterback one day and we’d have to agree with his assessment. Ultimately Jones’ upside outweighs his risks and taking a flier on him at the end of the fourth round was a great move.
Jones absolutely possesses all the tools that are needed to be an elite quarterback in the NFL these days. The only problem is that there are plenty of other players who are no longer in this league who once displayed potential as well and the same thing was said about them.
The real question is can Cardale Jones put in the time, and the effort to work on the deficiencies in his craft in order to prove his doubters wrong? Jones seems determined as he did not letting get benched in college affect his goal of working his way into the NFL.

The situation that Jones walked into is perfect because he can sit for a few years and learn under two veteran players and not much will be expected out of him. He should take advantage of this opportunity and with enough work he should be able to develop into a franchise quarterback for the Bills one day. Now that’s good value for the last pick of the fourth round!
