Marcus Thigpen

Marcus Thigpen is in a similar situation to Easley. Both players appear to have little to offer as receiving options, with their real value to the Bills coming on special teams.

In the case of Thigpen, he was claimed off waivers from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, towards the end of last season. This proved to be a shrewd move by Buffalo, as the former running back provided an immediate boost to their return game.

Thigpen’s signature moment was an electrifying 75-yard punt return against the Green Bay Packers. The 29-year old isn’t staying on the Bills roster as a receiver, so the return game offers his best chance of making the team.
