The only local live broadcasts, not to say that the online stream won’t be live, it will be, will be here in Buffalo as well as the local area in Jacksonville.
As part of the media day activities, one player from each team that will be playing across the pond, was in representation of their team; Lions/Jets/Jags/Dolphins/Chiefs/Bills. There are a total of 3 games that will occur during the course of the season in London. Players that were in attendance for media day were Joique Bell, Sergio Brown, Cairo Santos, Nick Mangold, Olivier Vernon, and Cordy Glenn.
There were a number of activities for kids (each player was designated a school) that were in attendance as well with the players being coaches for the kids in a flag football game.
Here is what Cordy Glenn had to say about the experience of playing at Wembley Stadium in London and the whole IS.
"On playing at Wembley: Any game in the NFL is tough. This won’t be any different. We’ve got to just come over and play our game like we normally would.Being in the UK: This is my first time in the UK. It’s exciting! I’m looking forward to checking out the place. This whole trip has been great. Can’t wait to come back during the season with the guys. How do the US fans feel about the IS: Fan wise we’ve got the best. Maybe they’d feel different if we were giving up a home game."
The Buffalo Bills will go into their bye week after this game, so they will have 2 weeks to get their jet lag in check and be ready to face off against the Miami Dolphins in week 9.
This is going to be a new experience for most of the players and coaches and one that we will be remembered by all.
Thanks to Lauren Draper-Wood for interviewing each player and providing the results. You can check her out at The Landry Hat, a FanSided site for the Dallas Cowboys.
