Week Two Vs. New England Patriots

If you haven’t heard about Tom Brady’s four-game suspension yet then it’s about time to crawl out of bed.

Instead of Brady under center in both teams’ first divisional game of 2015 it’ll more than likely be second-year pro Jimmy Garoppolo.  Lucky for him and the rest of the Patriots he’ll have plenty of time to prepare for the first-four weeks.  He has some experience coming out of his rookie season most of which was against Buffalo in a week 17 loss.

While Brady sits out another player’ll be coming back from suspension: LeGarrette Blount.  Can he, Garoppolo, and Rob Gronkowski be enough to snag a week two victory?

Not against Buffalo’s defense.  And not against their offense either.  New England lost almost their whole defensive secondary this offseason with Darrelle Revis and Brandon Browner jumping ship.  Don’t forget about Vince Wilfork, either.  The duo of LeSean McCoy and Fred Jackson alone will be able to prove to be too much, and their success will ultimately open up the passing game against the Patriots’ unknown secondary.

Prediction: New England Patriots 16, Buffalo Bills 24

Next: Week Three
