Buffalo Bills Circling The Wagons – May 12th Edition

The start of the second round of offseason voluntary conditioning workouts are here.  The Buffalo Bills had a great rookie mini-camp and will provide some excitement come training camp this year.

Here are your daily links for the Buffalo Bills.

Roth: LeSean McCoy can’t run from his remarks about Chip Kelly

"LeSean McCoy’s nickname “Shady” was given to him by his mother. As a kid, McCoy was prone to mood swings, happy one minute, crying the next. A person of many shades. I like a lot of the shades McCoy has demonstrated since the headline-grabbing trade in March that sent him from the Philadelphia Eagles to the Buffalo Bills in exchange for linebacker Kiko Alonso. McCoy has said a lot of nice things about Buffalo. He’ll hold a celebrity softball game at Rochester’s Frontier Field in June to benefit his foundation and research for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. He can’t wait to take the field and start helping the Bills end a 15-year playoff drought."

Projecting the Bills‘ 53-man roster

"Training camp is still more than two months away, but it’s never too early to take a shot at projecting what the Buffalo Bills’ 53-man roster will look like when the season opener rolls around Sept. 13. That means nearly half of the 90 players currently on the roster won’t be around for that game against the Indianapolis Colts. Here is a position-by-position look at who will stay, and what the toughest cuts will be."

Football Outsiders projects 8-8 Bills in 2015

"If the NFL suspends New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady this week, it will send shock waves through the NFL and potentially shake up the AFC East’s standings this season. The Buffalo Bills, who will host the Patriots in Week 2, would probably benefit from a potential Brady suspension, but Football Outsiders’ latest projection shave the Miami Dolphins in a better spot to overtake the Patriots in the division."

Dezmin Lewis could push friend Marquise Goodwin, and 5 things we learned from Bills rookie

"When the former Central Arkansas wide receiver got the phone call from the Buffalo Bills in the seventh round of the 2015 NFL Draft, he thought of his newest teammate and longtime friend Marquise Goodwin, a third-year receiver for the Bills. The two have known each other since seventh grade, and Lewis figured Goodwin would help make the transition easier."

Bills sign rookie safety Wes Miller

"A rookie who tried out for the Bills over the weekend has been added to the roster. UTEP safety Wes Miller has signed with Buffalo, the club said Monday."
