Landon Collins has first round talent and likely should’ve been the first safety or defensive back off theboard in the NFL draft in 2015. The Bills have to be rejoicing that other teams decided to wait until day two to draft the Alabama product because the Buffalo Bills can reap the rewards of other teams wrong decisions. If Collins gets to the Bills at fifty I anticipate between .1 and .01 seconds before the pick is in. Collins is a thumper who can also play the ball very well in the air. Collins is as comfortable in the box as he is playing the deep third of the field. There was some question from draft experts whether or not Collins would specialize as a corner or a safety when headed to play on Sunday’s but his fit in Ryan’s system is of little doubt. Collins would be the run stuffing safety that Da’Norris Searcy was under Pettine except with exceptionally more talent. Collins would be an insane addition to the defensive unit that is already one of the top of NFL already.
