The schedule release is always a fun time for football fans as everybody will run through the list, circle all the wins and put asterisks next to every game they think their favorite team is getting screwed over by. For Dallas Cowboys fans it’s every game scheduled in December. For New York Jets fans it’s every game. For Buffalo Bills fans, we’re all hoping for no games in South Florida during the first month of football.
It was announced towards the tail end of last year who the opponents would be. Here’s a rundown:
Home: New England Patriots, Jets, Miami Dolphins, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Cincinnati Bengals
Away: Patriots, Jets, Dolphins, Tennessee Titans, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Kansas City Chiefs
If you haven’t caught any news regarding the schedule, Buffalo’s eighth away game will be located in London, England against the Jacksonville Jaguars on October 25th at 9:30 am ET. Note: The game will only be streamed online. For more information on details as to why, follow this link.
I’m not going to try to guess the schedule (you may have missed out on the possibility of winning a lucrative amount of cash here) but I will beg for one game, and one game only.
Opening Thursday night, kick off the season with Buffalo heading up to face the defending Super Bowl champion Patriots on national television. With the improvements general manager Doug Whaley and new head coach Rex Ryan have made, I can’t help but think this is all-but a lock for the opening-night game.
What do you think? Who do you want to see the Bills take on in week one?
