More from Buffalo Bills News

To start the preseason off the Buffalo Bills will host the Carolina Panthers, which will be the 5 preseason game between the two teams.  This will be the first time since 1998 that Carolina has come to Buffalo for a preseason game.

In week 2 the Buffalo Bills will be on the road and will face off against their former defensive coordinator Mike Pettine when they face the Cleveland Browns.  This game will be on August 20th at 8PM as it will be a nationally televised game.  This is the 11th time that these two teams have met in the preseason and the first time they have faced in preseason since 2006.

In the third week, the Buffalo Bills will host the Pittsburgh Steelers, which will be the 11th meeting as well for these two teams in preseason.  The Steelers and Bills last played in 2012 in Buffalo for a preseason game.  Although not announced yet, there is a likelihood that this will also correspond with the Buffalo Bills kids day as well.

The fourth and final game for the Buffalo Bills in the preseason is against the team that seems to always be there, the Detroit Lions.  This is the 14th straight time that these two teams have met in preseason and will be the 35th time in the existence of both teams.  This game is a road game for the Bills as it seems to have been just about every year.

Actual dates and times have not been announced for the other 3 games as the Browns game is a nationally televised game.  Dates and times will come at a later date.
