With the 155th selection in the 2015 NFL Draft the Buffalo Bills select SeanMannion Quarterback Oregon State University. Mannion has the prototypical build, hand size, and style that scouts love, he is a pro style pocket passer who can see over his line and deliver a deep ball that is a thing of beauty. Mannion has the ability to make almost any throw on the field when he feels comfortable in the pocket. That is the one area that he really needs to improve on he gets Madden Syndrome when surprised by blitz packages or when he feels pressure. Madden Syndrome: When a Quarterback drops back in the pocket, feels pressure and instead of stepping up in the pocket and climbing the ladder, he instead drops back further trying to avoid the incoming rushers. This is the only knock on Mannion other than his limited mobility which shouldn’t be a huge issue in Greg Roman’s offensive scheme. Mannion reminds me of a poor man’s Joe Flacco in there similar size and touch on the deep ball down the field.
