Kraig Urbik, Cyril Richardson, and Chris Williams all volleyed throughout the year playing that left guard spot.

Williams go hurt after playing 132 snaps and was out for the rest of the season.  He finished with a -6.9, which is not great but it is tough to tell where he would have finished if he played an entire season, but coming into Buffalo, Williams was not one of the top guard talents in the league, he was ranked very close to the bottom at his position, so I don’t think that his grade would have been much higher.

As far as Richardson and Urbik are concerned, I do see and upside on Cyril Richardson with some proper training, Kraig Urbik is a good back up and spot gap when injuries occur, but I think the Buffalo Bills can do better.  Richardson finished with a -13.7 grade on 321 snaps.

Not too concerned with this as he was placed in their because of injuries and as a rookie, he also was a stop gap.  Kraig Urbik played in 636 snaps and had a -9.1 grading.  As I said above, Urbik is that good back up and stop gap but is not a starter in the league and as a guard he had one of the worst run blocking grades in the entire league, -10.0, which put him at 9th overall, to the bottom.

So the long and short of it is the Buffalo Bills need to improve on their offensive line.  Whether it is different personnel, which I think if a big factor in this, but also the development of the rookies as well and I am interested to see where Cyrus Kouandjio will be after a full season and coming into his 2nd season with the Bills.

I think that with Cordy Glenn as your LT, Eric Wood as your C, Ritchie Incognito as one of your guards, and Seantrel Henderson as your RT, the Buffalo Bills are still in need of another guard, because I truly do not believe that Kraig Urbik or Cyril Richardson or Chris Williams is that other guy to complete this offensive line at that second guard spot.  They need to go out and get another one.
