The Buffalo Bills had Mike Williams as a healthy scratch this past weekend against the New England Patriots.  Doug Marrone said it was a tough decision to sit Williams, but because of their game plan and Kyle Williams returning healthy enough to play in the game on Sunday, they had to look across the board and see who was expendable for the game; cue Mike Williams.

More from Bills Rumors

It was stated that Mike Williams took it like a pro, being benched, but now there are a ton of rumors being fired off because of his healthy scratch.  Mike Williams is looking to be traded, doesn’t want to be traded, Doug Whaley said his agent can begin to look, Whaley also said that they weren’t entertaining the idea of trading Mike.

So far we have gotten both sides of the story from all parties involved and their are 4 stories all together.  So which is it?

At this point, who knows, but Mike Williams is attracting some interest in the trade market, whether he wants to or not.  New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz, suffered a knee injury and is out for the season so, the Giants my be calling here soon.  The Giants have Reuben Randle, Odell Beckham Jr. Preston Parker and Corey Washington right now on their roster.  They have 3 receivers on their practice squad that are available as well.  But are the Giants looking to give up compensation as well as take on a 5.2 million dollar contract to bring in Mike Williams?

It is a possibility.  How big of a compensated piece would the Bills get for Mike Williams? All depends on how much the Giants are willing to pay and their desperate need for a wide receiver with Williams talent.  I am thinking that no more than a 3rd or 4th rounder would be coming the way of the Bills for Williams at this point, if he is traded at all.
