Let’s be honest here no one wanted to see that game go into overtime because regular season overtime is to 80’s action movies as preseason overtime is to a 6 hour lecture on the different types camera lenses for iPhone’s. We all lucked out when first Broomfield intercepted the ball and then on the following drive Cyrus Kouandjio whiffed on a block and let Jeff Tuel get crushed which caused Tuel to fumble and the Steeler’s to get possession on the one yard line. I honestly contemplated the probability that Marrone would put Manuel and the first offense out there as a punishment for not getting a touchdown if it went to overtime.
