With one week in the books controversy is already starting with some Bills fans. CJ Spiller who is in line to have a great explosive season didn’t start off well and now is looked at as a potential backup for week 2 in some people’s eyes. Listening to it today from people just made me shake my head.

Last season this Bills team I actually thought had the pieces to have an ok season but it just never happened. One major reason was the use of CJ Spiller. His play showed the world that he has what it takes and could produce weekly. Always having people on the edge of their seats waiting to see what he was going to do next. All of that over the course of a whole season was basically gone with one game this past Sunday. Spiller you could say was nowhere near the top of his game but it happens. I’m not going to make excuses for him because I know this game would’ve been great to win but really after one game?

My feelings of Fred Jackson haven’t really changed over the past year. I don’t care for the guy and the thought of him having one decent season is not enough for me to give him that attention. Getting older he is surely piling up the miles and injuries have hurt him as of late. I not going to say the guy is terrible by any means but I think much of his better days are well behind him. His role now as a backup is more than ok with me. Spiller can help this team in so many ways that sometimes just being on the field as a decoy continues to have the defense second guessing their coverage. CJ I believe will indeed have the season everyone is hoping for and also hopefully lead this team beyond the regular season.

Moving on to Carolina I think the Bills and Spiller will have a good game. The offense and Spiller will be ready to go and the running attack will be better and have people a little less edgy. Are you on the Jackson bandwagon or is it Spiller the guy everyone had high hopes for just a week ago?
