49ers Beat Bills 45-3

That went about as well as many fans expected. The 49ers dominated the Bills on both sides of the ball on route to a 45 to 3 rout. For the second week in a row the Bills gave up more than 550 yards, the first team to do so since the New York Yanks in 1950. The stats are not pretty.

Ryan Fitzpatrick was held to 126 yards and an interception. The Bills leading rusher was Brad Smith, who only had one carry for 35 yards. Both Spiller and Jackson were held under 30 yards on the day. Chandler lead all receivers with four catches for forty yards, but had a critical fumble in the second quarter.

The 49ers had excellent games from many of their offensive starters. Alex Smith threw for 303 yards and three touchdowns. Frank Gore ran for 106 yards and a touchdown while Kendall Wright had 81. Smith ran for 49 yards and backup QB Colin Kaepernick ran for 39. The Bills gave up two 100 yard games to 49er recievers. Michael Crabtree had 113 yards while Vernon Davis had 106. The 49ers Kyle Williams had 50 yards as well.

The game was close in the first quarter, with each team only scoring a field goal. The 49ers started pulling away in the second and never looked back. In the end is was an absolutely dominating performance for San Francisco, and an embarrassing one for the Bills.

The defensive backs were taken advantage of all game, but none more than Aaron Williams. Williams gave up two touchdowns on the day. The Bills passrush was also non-existent, recording zero sacks. Nigel Bradham led the team with six tackles.

Bills Most Valuable Player: Shawn Powell. Yes the rest of the team was that bad. Powell showed today that he is just as good as an old Brian Moorman.

Bills Least Valuable Player: Aaron Williams. A rough day for Williams. He is one of the most inconsistent players on the defense. He was torn apart this weekend.
