2016 Buffalo Bills Minicamp Wrap Up
By Dennis Moody
Now that the Bills 2016 minicamp has come to a close, here’s a wrap up of news from camp.
Minicamp is always an interesting time of year. There isn’t much going on as far as news. Yet somehow at One Bills Drive plenty of little nuggets of information trickled out making for quite a lot to discuss. Here’s a recap of what went down at minicamp.
Karlos Williams is Heavy
Bills number two running back Karlos Williams showed up to minicamp heavy. He is listed on the team’s website at 230 pounds but rumors have him showing up to minicamp at over 250 pounds.
He was held out of practice to protect himself until he can get his weight back down. And you want to know the reason why he showed up to minicamp heavy? As he describes he got “the injury of pregnancy.”
Basically, to sympathize with his wife’s cravings while she was pregnant he ate with her. You really can’t make this stuff up. I wonder if Rex asked him if he was half or fully pregnant. You can check out the below video for more on it.
Preston Brown Pokes Fun at Karlos Williams
One man’s weight gain is another man’s gain? Wait, that’s not the saying. But with Karlos Williams gaining weight, Preston Brown gained some twitter notoriety when he decided to mess with his teammate in a series of tweets back and forth.

Rex and Rob Ryan On A Bike For Two
Ever wanted to know what Rex Ryan and Rob Ryan would look like on a bike together? You don’t have to wonder anymore when this gem of a picture leaked out. Anytime I am feeling sad from now until the day I leave this earth, all I will need to do to feel better is to glance at this picture. It’s everything you ever wanted. One Buffalo apparently means One Bike too.

Rex Runs His Mouth Again
It’s the offseason. What better time for Rex Ryan to declare victory over something right? It’s a lot easier to claim to be a victor when there are no games played. During the season when you actually have to back it up it gets harder to boast. Rex exclaimed that the “Bills won the offseason” which leads to two questions:
1) Why would you want to win the offseason? Most teams that think they did usually end up doing poorly. (I see you Washington and Miami in years past)
2) Will he ever close his mouth long enough to not make a confident prediction during this time of year? Yea, yea sports writers like myself love it because it gives us something to write about when there aren’t a lot of topics. But as a sports writer and a Bills fan, the fan takes over and I am tired of hearing about these type of predictions. I want results and Rex needs to deliver them.
