Former Buffalo Bills guard Kraig Urbik has signed a contract with the Miami Dolphins. Details of the contract have not yet been disclosed. Urbik was cut by the Bills earlier this month in a move that saved the team $1.775 million according to Spotrac.com.

The NFL also considered changes to the league’s bylaws in addition to the above mentioned rules. The Buffalo Bills had a proposal which was accepted by the league. The new bylaw will give teams more flexibility to determine when a player on injured reserve can be given a designation to return.

The Buffalo Bills are “really close” to signing wide receiver Leonard Hankerson according to general manager Doug Whaley. Hankerson was claimed late last season by Buffalo after he was released by the Patriots. The signing is still not official as of the time of this article.

Buffalo Bills defensive end Jerry Hughes is recovering after left wrist surgery. He tweeted out the below picture which is kind of gross (sorry).

The Bills will not be featured on HBO’s Hard Knocks this offseason. The Los Angeles Rams were the team selected for the show according to Chris Wesseling from NFL.com. While it would have been great to see the Bills players interact on the show, it’s much better for the team to stay out of the media spotlight so that they can focus solely on ending their sixteen-year playoff drought.
