Depressed? Check Out the Greatest Comeback in NFL History

AUTHOR: | IN: Classic Bills Videos | COMMENTS: None Yet

So I’m feeling extremely depressed after reading today’s awful news from the labor front. I’m becoming very concerned we’re not going to have football in 2011. In my despair, I turned to Youtube in search of something to cheer me up. And boy, did I ever find it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBg8RJdcSEs&feature=player_detailpage http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=piEHDtG1emU&feature=player_detailpage (I’d usually just embed the video…but that doesn’t seem to be working right now. Sorry.) A few thoughts on the video here:

Well, this is a kick in the groin. ESPN’s Chris Mortensen is reporting that today’s round of negotiations between the NFL owners and players did not go very well today and that both sides are a bit discouraged.

Stevie Johnson Talks Football, Fashion

AUTHOR: | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: None Yet

If you weren’t aware already, Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson is freaking awesome. And I’m not just saying that because Johnson is one the league’s brightest young stars. It’s because he just genuinely seems like an awesome guy in real life. Example: Johnson decided to take in Buffalo’s uniform unveiling last week…as a fan. Since he’s locked out as a player, Johnson simply bought a ticket and watched from the stands. As fans recognized him, he mingled and signed autographs. Awesome. Johnson’s a unique character, and one aspect of that is that he dresses in a unique way – as evidenced by [...]

Post-Draft Roster Analysis: Cornerback

AUTHOR: | IN: Bills Defense | COMMENTS: None Yet

Now that the dust of the 2011 Draft has settled, it’s time to analyze the current state of Buffalo’s roster. We’ll be taking a look at one position at a time. Today: Cornerback. (Previous editions: QB, RB, FB, WR, TE, OT,G/C, DL, OLB, ILB, ST) Buffalo’s outlook at cornerback depends greatly one decision the Bills front office will have to make – how much is the team willing to spend to make sure Drayton Florence returns to the Bills? Florence had a very strong year in 2010 and will command decent money on the free agent market. Complicating the issue is that two other “big name” Bills defensive [...]

C.J. Spiller and Leodis McKelvin to Switch Uniform Numbers

AUTHOR: | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: None Yet

Not only will the Bills be sporting a different look next season, but apparently two recent Buffalo first round picks have decided to switch uniform numbers. Cornerback Leodis McKelvin and running back C.J. Spiller have decided to swap numbers. Next season, McKelvin will wear number 21, while Spiller will wear 28. Both players have had struggled to live up to the expectations of being a first round pick, and maybe both felt that a number switch will help erase some bad memories.

BLD Polls: What Grade Would You Give Buffalo’s New Uniforms?

AUTHOR: | IN: BLD Polls | COMMENTS: None Yet

Now that the Bills have officially released their new uniform design, I pose the question to you: What do you think of the new look? What grade do these uniforms get from you? I give these uniforms a very solid “B.” Not terribly exciting, but miles and miles ahead of the previous design. Not a terribly huge fan of the white helmets (mostly because the Bills play in a division with two other teams with white helmets), but it’s still a nice look overall.

Bills Unveil New Uniforms

AUTHOR: | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: None Yet

The Bills (finally) unveiled the team’s new uniforms Friday night. The design wasn’t exactly a suprise, as the fine folks at Madden accidently leaked the uniforms a few months ago. As expected, the team switched to white helmets and greatly streamlined the uniform design. More pictures after the jump:
