With the 41st pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills select, with their second pick … Torrell Troup, DT, University of Central Florida Reaction? Ho-hum. Well, at least it is not shock and appall. This time Nix decided to go with need. There was no question that trying to make the transition to a 3-4 defense that the Bills would need a solid nose tackle. The Bills were without question the league’s worst defense against the run. If they hope to improve this year keeping opponents’ ground game under control has to be a top priority. We’ll just [...]
With the ninth overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills have selected Clemson running back C.J. Spiller. TE Derek Schouman Resigns with Bills
Good news for Buffalo as TE Derek Schouman has agreed to re-signed with the Buffalo Bills after accepting the contract offer the team tendered last month. Schouman topped the depth chart at the position last year before an ugly knee injury ended his season in Week 2. Before getting hurt in that 33-20 victory over Tampa Bay, Schouman was able to notch nine catches for 103 yards. Buffalo drafted the young Boise State alum in the seventh round of the 2007. He has 27 catches for 275 yards and a touchdown in 21 games, in his 15 career starts.
Preseason Schedule Set
The Buffalo Bills have announced their schedule for the 2010 NFL Preseason. I know, I know, the games don’t matter – but that gives us the best chance to win! Get into it Buffalo! The Bills will play their preseason opener in Washington D.C. where they will square off against the Redskins and new acquisition Donovan McNabb. Should be fun to watch McNabb in his new setting. Now just down the road, Eagles fans who never really appreciated D-Nab as the quality QB he is, will have to face him twice a season. Enjoy Philly. Well played. The game is [...]
