As promised the Mock Draft board has been posted, with all the teams in the tentative spots.  Obviously the playoff teams could change and we here at the BLD and FSB will update them accordingly as necessary.  I am going to try and get some picks in there slowly but surely…have a lot of things going on…so keep checking back…i may change my mind!

Ralph Wilson today released this statement from Detroit: “It is well known that I share many of the fans’ dissatisfaction with our offensive game management.  That being said, I believe that this team, at this time, is better served by coninuity in the coaching staff rather than a disruptive overhaul. The team played hard all year long and there are many positives to build on. For those of us who do not get to endure the heartache of the playoffs are left to endure for the next major event on the NFL schedule, and that is the draft.  In the coming days you will start to see a mock draft template on the BLD…which will be updated as things change and develop. Check back often as the updates are made available to me.

For those of you who listened in to Bills Fan Radio last night at 11pm, you have heard my picks for the Wild Card games.  But just in case here they are again: Week 1 Predictions Atlanta vs Arizona – Kurt Warner is a smart quarterback.  He does not make a lot of mistakes, and the Cards despite a mediocre looking record played some good football this year.  Atlanta had to get over the mantra of the Michael Vick disaster, and put on a good show to prove that they don’t need a felon to win football game.  Arizona takes [...]

Weather permitting, Ralph Wilson will make his decision on the coaching duties of Dick Jauron.  It is easy as a fan to hope for the best, and expect a new coach come the 2008-2009 season, but history is against the Bills making any drastic changes. Dick Jauron should be back as the head coach next year, because he is positive the Bills are making progress.  After three seasons of 7-9 I do not see any improvement.  I will give him one season, transitioning quarterbacks, and the Bills had a fair share of major injuries this year. The worst thing for the Bills to do is the normal shuffling of positions to make it look like something has been done.  Too many years the Bills have marketed this a smart business move, but I think the fans have wisened up to that. Ralph Wilson and Russ Brandon have to realize that bringing in a football guy is the only way to improve in this league.  Considering how other teams react to losing, the Bills need to react and react fast when it comes to improving this team.
