49ers Win, Bills to sit out post-season again

AUTHOR: Zach | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: None Yet

It is going to take a miracle for this team to make the playoffs win.  After rolling over the Chiefs, it appears that the Bills rolled over today before the first whistle ever blew.  I must admit, I did not watch the game – I was out with family celebrating a birthday (not mine).  What I did catch while we were out though, was that Edwards was hurt, and the Geicko caveman, I mean Losman and his mutton chops played in what could be Buffalo’s worst outing all season.
The only thing that could make this season any worse is if [...]

Bills vs. Niners

AUTHOR: Zach | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: None Yet

The Bills welcome back Nate Clements and Takio Spikes to Ralph WIlson today, but it will neither be warm, or a good welcome. It is cold outside, but not a bitter cold like we are used to, when I was out this morning doing some running around it was more of a tolerable cold, and the snow has started to fall. I think it has been going on and off today, but none the less it is still falling. That should favor into an advantage for the Bills, but not like it use to.
The 49ers gave a [...]

Power Rankings for Week 13

AUTHOR: Zach | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

I was joking around with the guys over at Arrowhead Addict about the Bills beating the Chiefs as being equated to beating the fat kid in dodgeball. I figured why not do some power rankings with categories of other gym class monikers. So here it is, the NFL according to a gym class:

Special Education Class – the guys who have to wear their helmets on the bus as well as on the field.

(32) Detroit – The league should consider renaming the last place spot in the league for these guys. It makes you wonder why the league keeps asking us [...]

Bills vs Chiefs brings excitement to Buffalo

AUTHOR: Zach | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

Listening to Buffalo fans after a win is funny.  “greatest game ever” “still alive for the playoffs..”.  The truth of the matter is we beat (impressively) the Kansas City Chiefs.  No offense to Adam and Zach, bloggers over at Arrowhead Addict and the head honchos here on the fan-sided network, but beating the Chiefs is like playing dodgeball, and the Chiefs are the fat kid, targeted and out quickly.
The Bills did show us several things though:
1) We are nothing but an average team.  We have proven we can beat the bad teams, come close to beating the fringe teams, and [...]

54 Points, with 10 minutes to play

AUTHOR: Zach | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

I still am not getting my hopes up, this game will put Buffalo in a tie for last place in the division, but they do not have any of the tie breakers, keeping them on the bottom of the pile.
The Bills have not scored this many points since 1966.  The Bills could set a team record by scoring one more time.
Injuries have dismantled this team, and the losing streak kill the momentum that a 4-0 start gave them.  The Bills still need to beat someone with a winning record, until then they are still a mediocre team.  The Bills could [...]

Bills continue to pour it on – thanks to McKelvin

AUTHOR: Zach | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: None Yet

The Bills offense is playing one of its best games of the year, on low yardage.  Why is that? The play of rookie McKelvin.  His kick returns and interceptions have placed the Bills in a commanding position in this game.  This is what the Bills need to do every game. Take the opponent out of the game.
Trent Edwards has put the ball into the endzone twice to really take the game out of reach of the Chiefs.  While the game is far from over, the Bills have control of this game, and the whole is deep for Thigpen.  If the [...]

Bills again show true self – Halftime

AUTHOR: Zach | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: None Yet

Trent Edwards, the Offense, and the Defense are showing their true colors again.  A team that cannot seem to find momentum or confidence, unless they are playing teams with losing records.  Consider who they have beaten, and who have beaten them.
We are seeing the same Bills team that we saw the first four weeks of the season.  Edwards has his confidence back, he is seeing the field, he dove headfirst for a touchdown.  I think the kid is over his concussion, but I still have guarded optimism about the rest of the season.  Until we can actually beat someone with [...]

Edwards throws some to WRs

AUTHOR: Zach | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

Edwards is opening up the offense a little, with some passes down field.  This is important and needs to happen more often. Find Evans deep.
