We are heading into the first week of November and the pressure is now turning up in the NFL. Fans have more of an understanding of where teams are at and now this is where we can slowly start to talk about the potential playoff seedings and scenarios. While it’s still early, we are halfway through the season already which is hard to believe.

The Buffalo Bills are back in the win column after their 40-9 victory over the Carolina Panthers, where it was the James Cook show with over 200 yards on the ground. The Bills desperately needed the win to avoid a third consecutive loss.

Week 8 actually had the entire AFC East winning, including the Patriots who remain at the top of the division. Going into this Week 9 schedule within the division, it features one team getting the week off, and another one going into what should be the game of the week across the league.

AFC East Week 9 schedule

New York Jets - Bye Week

Baltimore Ravens @ Miami Dolphins

Thursday Night Football, 8:15PM - Prime Video

The Dolphins and Ravens open up Week 9 on Thursday Night Football down in south beach, and both teams are coming off hard fought wins. Both teams are in desperate mode for different reasons, but more pressure is on Mike McDaniel and the Dolphins.

Miami went into Atlanta and won 34-10, while the Ravens defeated the Bears, 30-16. The Dolphins now host a Ravens team that may still have playoff hopes and they will have their hands full.

Atlanta Falcons @ New England Patriots

1PM - CBS

The two teams who beat the Bills in back-to-back weeks will meet up in New England. In Atlanta’s defence against Miami, they didn’t have Michael Penix or Drake London so their offense was limited. We will have to see if they will be back for a battle with the Patriots.

As for New England, they had their struggles with the Cleveland Browns but they ended up pulling out a 32-13 win to remain on top of the AFC East. The Bills need some help from Atlanta this week in Gillette Stadium.

Kansas City Chiefs @ Buffalo Bills

4:25PM - CBS

In what should be everyone’s game of the week, it’s Josh Allen vs. Patrick Mahomes in a Chiefs vs. Bills battle in Orchard Park. The history between these two quarterbacks is phenomenal and historically, Allen has had Mahomes’ number in the regular season matchups. However, it’s the playoffs where the story flips.

No matter what team you are a fan of, everyone should be tuning into another chapter of this rivalry.
