Week 1 is officially in the books and what a thrilling week it was across the league. However, the biggest takeaway was the Buffalo Bills stunning the Baltimore Ravens on a comeback win on Sunday night to win 41-40. The Bills were the only team in the AFC East to win and they now have a one game lead over the entire division.

Week 2 is now the focus across the league and this coming Thursday night, fans will have the chance to watch the Washington Commanders take on the Green Bay Packers. There are some intriguing matchups this week, but in the AFC East alone, we have two division games that fans will have the chance to follow along with.

New England Patriots @ Miami Dolphins

1PM EST, CBS

It’s the battle of two of the three 0-1 teams between the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins. The Pats are coming off a very disappointing home game performance against the Las Vegas Raiders, losing 20-13. The start under the Mike Vrabel era is not off to a great one.

As for the Miami Dolphins, they honestly look like the worst team in the NFL. They allowed Daniel Jones and the Indianapolis Colts to dominate them in a 33-8 beatdown. They looked bad on both sides of the ball and they have a lot to clean up.

Buffalo Bills @ New York Jets

1PM EST, CBS

It’s New York’s only team, the Buffalo Bills heading to New Jersey to take on the Jets who should have beaten Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. If it wasn’t for a 60 yard field goal by Chris Boswell, the Jets would more than likely be 1-0 heading into this game against the Bills. While their defense is still a mess, their offense showed toughness and physicality.

Finally, the only 1-0 team in the AFC East, the Buffalo Bills. They made a 16 point comeback with just over four minutes left in the 4th quarter to stun the Ravens, 41-40. Josh Allen played lights out and the defense finally came through at the end of the game by forcing a Derrick Henry fumble, and forcing the Ravens to punt with over a minute left in the game.

Then as well all know, Matt Prater, who was signed to the Bills just this past week to the practice squad was the reason why the Bills were celebrating in victory.
