The AFC East is pretty much all set for the regular season. After the outcomes in Week 17, Bills fans are not feeling great. Not only did they drop a heartbreaker against the Philadelphia Eagles, but that loss gave the New England Patriots the AFC East for the first time since 2019.

In Week 17, it was an even split as two teams won their respective games while the other two did not. Going into the final regular season game of the year, it will be all division matchups across the league. However, this particular week will have Bills fans feeling all sorts of emotions.

Week 18 AFC East schedule

New York Jets (3-13) @ Buffalo Bills (11-5)

The Bills will close out the regular season, and most likely their respective season at home for what could be the final time in the original Highmark Stadium or ultimately known as “The Ralph”. There have been so many memories in that stadium over the years, both good and bad.

Fans have seen greatness and heartbreak in that stadium. It’s going to be a special moment that is filled with all sorts of emotions. Not to mention, the Bills will also be going with their throwback red helmets to close out the regular season.

The last time the Bills and Jets met back in Week 2, Buffalo's defense completely domianted the Jets, allowing just 154 total yards.

There is going to be excitement and tears at the start, during, and after the game. Knowing that this matchup against the Jets could be the last time the Bills play in their current stadium is going to send a whirlwind of emotions throughout Bills Mafia. Let’s just hope that if this is the last time the stadium will be packed, it will end with a Bills win.

Miami Dolphins (7-9) @ New England Patriots (13-3)

The Dolphins are heading up to Foxborough to take on the New England Patriots. While the Patriots already have the AFC East locked up, there is still a chance that they can win the No. 1 seed and home field advantage throughout the playoffs. They need to beat Miami and hope that the Broncos lose to the Chargers.

As for Miami, they are playing just to finish out the season. They may have a good amount of changes happening this coming offseason, so Mike McDaniel will need to do whatever it takes to make sure his job is safe.
