It’s so hard to believe that it is already December. For some NFL teams, this will definitely be the last month that they play football. Then there are teams who are fighting for a playoff spot, including the Buffalo Bills. There is a great feeling in Western New York this week after the Bills defeated the Steelers to move to 8-4.

At the same time, it didn’t help them move up in the AFC playoff picture. This conference is a huge battle and because of the losses the Bills have, they almost can’t afford to lose any unless they got some help from others.

The one good news that the Bills have this week is that they won’t need to worry about the Patriots pulling away even more in the division since they will be on their bye week.

AFC East Week 14 schedule

Cincinnati Bengals (4-8) @ Buffalo Bills (8-4)

FOX - 1PM

If you only posted the records for this game, you would think that maybe it’s not an exciting matchup. But once you put the teams in the equation, then you would see how exciting this matchup is. Josh Allen vs. Joe Burrow in Orchard Park, with both teams fighting for a playoff spot.

Due to Burrow getting injured early on in the season, the Bengals season was going downhill, but yet they still remain in the hunt. Now, they have a legit chance at winning the division if they start piling up wins and both Pittsburgh and Baltimore start losing.

As for the Bills, they get to host a team that has had their number in recent memory. Buffalo hasn’t beaten Burrow, but they will look to do that in front of Bills Mafia.

Miami Dolphins (5-7) @ New York Jets (3-9)

CBS - 1PM

We’ve got a divisional battle in New Jersey with both the Jets and Dolphins coming off wins in Week 12. They were close wins, but they still remain in the chase in the AFC…barely. The Dolphins beat the Jets in their first matchup down in south beach, winning 27-21. They look like a totally different team ever since they moved on from Chris Grier.

As for the Jets, they are looking to just stay somewhat competitive, but their main focus is going to be on building the team next year after acquiring a bunch of draft picks at the trade deadline.

New England Patriots - Bye Week

The Patriots don't have to worry about losing the division despite being on their bye week.
