When the Buffalo Bills brought in Joey Bosa last offseason, it was their biggest splash of the offseason and it was paying for them in the beginning of the season. Bosa tied a franchise record for most forced fumbles in a season and he applied a ton of pressure against the pass.

However, as the season progressed, Bosa’ presence was not what it was in the beginning. He wasn’t containing well and he was getting pushed inside at times that allowed the quarterback to roll outside and connect with a receiver for a first down or touchdown.

Buffalo brought in Bosa on a one-year deal worth $12.6 million and I don’t see the Bills bringing him back again unless he takes a hometown discount. The Bills have a tough cap situation and unless they clear it up to make room, and even want to bring Bosa back, then Bosa should be joining a third team in his career.

Top landing spots for Joey Bosa ahead of 2026 free agency

San Francisco 49ers

When Bosa was released by the Los Angeles Chargers last offseason, there was a lot of thought that maybe he would stay in California and join his brother up in San Francisco. The pairing of the Bosa brothers on the same team would have been very scary.

After the Bills agreed to terms with Bosa, it was reported by NFL Insider Dianna Russini that the 49ers and Dolphins were teams that were in play for Bosa, but he chose Buffalo over them. Well, they may get the chance to bring in the older Bosa to pair him with his younger brother.

Baltimore Ravens

Bosa saw first hand how the Ravens can be as he was part of this Buffalo defense that was getting destroyed by Derrick Henry back in Week 1. The Ravens are much like the Bills. They have talent on the roster with a dynamic quarterback who can win with his arm and legs. If Bosa wanted to still compete and join a team that has always had a solid defense, Baltimore could be an ideal landing spot.

Philadelphia Eagles

You can never count out Howie Roseman, as he always looks for talent that is available. He has signed players that the Eagles didn’t need, but that they could utilize. Bosa would be another player in this category. Philadelphia could use an upgrade of their outside pass rush and Bosa would be that veteran with plenty of experience to add to the defensive line that already has Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis.

Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals have been very bad on the defensive side of the ball and there is a chance that Trey Hendrickson may have played his last down as a Bengal. Cincinnati is known for two things; having a great passing attack on offense and not being able to stop anyone on defense.

I’m not saying that Bosa is the answer to their pass rush problems, but it couldn’t hurt them to explore the idea of bringing him to Cincinnati.

Miami Dolphins

Like stated above, the Dolphins were in play to acquire Bosa last offseason but he decided to come to Buffalo and go up against Miami. His dad, John Bosa, played for the Dolphins in the late 80s and Miami has already shown him interest once. Why not pursue him again?

However, the Dolphins are in a tough cap situation as well so they would need to move some pieces around to even have a financial chance at bringing Bosa down to south beach.
