Don’t get me wrong, the Buffalo Bills had themselves a bad game back in Week 10 against the Miami Dolphins where they lost 30-13. However, atleast fans knew that at one point, the game was getting out of hand and the Bills stood no chance.

With this latest loss against the Texans, the Bills took a beating on offense that featured Josh Allen running for his life and getting sacked 8 times. You can make the argument on which sacks were on the offensive line, but not all of them were.

We all knew that the Texans were the best defense coming into this game, and it showed with no hesitation. They were roughing up Buffalo and they delivered a beating to them after the Bills’ first offensive drive. Then again, when a team has Josh Allen, you would expect them to overcome any major challenges.

The Bills almost pulled off a comeback late in the 4th quarter, but Houston stepped up big time deep in their territory and picked off Allen to seal the win at home.

If teams that will be playing Buffalo at some point the rest of this season were watching this game, they may have a better idea on how to slow down Allen and the offense to keep them extremely limited.

Texans' defensive gameplan may have given Bills' remaining opponents an advantage

It’s very simple, not complicated at all. Due to Josh Allen not having the wide receiver help on the outside to create separation, opposing defenses should be looking to blitz often and heavy in order to create pressure.

With the receivers not getting great separation, that forces Allen to hang onto the ball longer and it creates opportunities for a defense to make a big stop. If I’m an opponent of Buffalo’s for the rest of the season, the best thing to do would be to do what Houston did to keep Allen from turning into Superman.

The Bills are set to take on teams like the Steelers, Patriots, Browns, and Eagles. All of those teams have above average to great defenses. While they may not be as great as Houston’s, they are no joke and they will be bringing everything that they have to this Buffalo offense.
