One of the worst things that happens in sports is injuries, whether they are short-term or long-term. The Buffalo Bills are no stranger to dealing with injuries. In fact, it kind of seems like they get hit with some injury news every week whether it’s from a game or practice. There was a time where the Bills actually had to sign multiple guys just to fill out the safety room because injuries were piling up.
They’ve been dealing with injuries a lot this season which has impacted multiple positions. Over the last two weeks, they have been down key starters but now, things may be looking great for them as they prepare to play back-to-back road games the next two weeks.
Sean McDermott provides injury update that could (or may not) be promising
Sean McDermott gave an injury update after the Bills’ win over the Bengals on Sunday, and according to Sal Capaccio, McDermott said that there is a possibility that edge rusher Joey Bosa could play this coming Sunday against the New England Patriots. Per Capaccio, McDermott also said the same thing for players like Spencer Brown, Terrel Bernard, and Joshua Palmer.
"I believe there is" - Sean McDermott when asked if there is a possibility of Joey Bosa playing Sunday.

He added the same for the other players listed here. https://t.co/H7wJzq1fdw
When it comes to Bosa specifically, the Bills need him back badly. Buffalo provided little to no pressure on Joe Burrow and had it not been for back-to-back interceptions in the 4th quarter, who knows if the Bills would be celebrating their Week 14 win.
Bosa isn’t exactly putting up big time numbers, but he is providing consistent pressure and has been solid against the run. Comparing him to Rousseau, Bosa provides more in his game. Rousseau is just a run stopper, while Bosa can stop the rush and create a pass rush.
It’s still early in the week and anything can happen, but the fact that McDermott says that there is a possibility that the Bills could get Bosa back is big news for this defense. Going up against Drake Maye, the Bills need everyone to step up and get back to full health.
