Sean McDermott is a typically calm and collected head coach for the Buffalo Bills. He's a defensively minded coach, but he's still fairly reserved compared to coaches like Dan Campbell, who like to ham it up for their team and the media in press availabilities.
Well, McDermott came into his postgame press conference after the Bills huge victory over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Divisional game with a lot on his mind. He came for a handful of comments he had heard in the past week leading up to the game, and he was prepared to let his thoughts fly on the matter after securing the win.
McDermott comes for Baltimore media in postgame rant
McDermott had two majorly shady moments in his postgame press conference after the Bills win versus the Ravens. The first was when he commented on media saying the Bills were too small to compete with a big Baltimore offensive line, and with Derrick Henry running downhill.
Henry had a great game for Baltimore, but Buffalo's defense certainly forced some bad decisions from Lamar Jackson and Mark Andrews during the game.

"Our guys heard it all week long. We’re not big enough. We’re not fast enough. We’re not strong enough. We’re not talented enough," said McDermott to reporters. Clearly, McDermott and the rest of the Bills team were ready to shut down the doubters as it pertained to their defense - his specific bread and butter.
They held their own when it mattered, preventing a key two-point conversion earlier in the game that would have made Jackson's late game touchdown a game tying score instead of one that only got them to within two points of the Bills.
The other comment that McDermott took offense to was from a Baltimore radio personality, Jerry Coleman, who said back in 2020 that Buffalo was a "city of losers." The audio of Coleman saying this was actually played before the game on Highmark Stadium's big screen, hyping up an already on-edge Buffalo crowd before the contest.
In response to those old comments, McDermott told reporters "This is a city of winners. The people of this city deserve more than whoever said that about them."
That was a really passionate response from McDermott, and it goes to show a major motivation behind the Bills push for the Super Bowl - they want to bring a championship to the city of Buffalo very badly.
