The Buffalo Bills are back at home for a Week 4 out-of-conference game where they will host the 0-3 New Orleans Saints in what should be a lopsided game in favor of the Bills. Buffalo comes into this game at 3-0 with wins over the Ravens, Jets, and Dolphins. While the offense is putting up 34 points per game, the defense is allowing about 24 points per game.
As for the Saints, they are only averaging 15 points per game and are allowing 30 points per game, including giving up 44 points last week to the Seahawks. The Saints overall are very limited on talent and it’s going to take a miracle for them to beat the Bills in Buffalo this week.
Heading into this matchup, we had the chance to speak with Darrion Gray, Site Expert for Who Dat Dish and Gray was able to provide some insights that Bills fans will want to look at for this 1PM battle on Sunday.
Bills vs. Saints Week 4 insights
1.) What is a major weakness that the Saints that have Buffalo could have the chance to attack?
"Where do we start? The Bills are completely in a different class than the Saints, and New Orleans has many holes to exploit. We'll hone in on the offensive line, which has been a constant point of frustration early in the year. The idea of asking Cesar Ruiz to neutralize Ed Oliver, if he returns from injury, sounds scary. Bank on Oliver having a big game from the interior."
2.) Who would you consider to be an X-factor for the Saints this week?
"The X-factor has to be Alvin Kamara. The Saints will need to put points on the board to win this game, and Kamara is still their best offensive threat. He was open down the field on a fourth down attempt, but Spencer Rattler missed him. Though unsuccessful, the play shows Kamara's ability to be part of the passing game on multiple levels. If the Saints can finally get their run game activated in addition to using Kamara as a receiver, the game may be closer than most would expect."
3.) How do you see the Saints coming out of Week 4 with an upset win?
"The Saints will need to force a couple of turnovers, and start fast. They haven't started fast in any game. It's a major reason their first two games ended with them being close but losing. If the Saints start slow again, Week 4 may look a lot like Week 3. Turnovers are the great equalizer. They can take points off the board and put the Saints in scoring position. They'll be necessary to eat away at the gap between these two teams."
