The 2024 NFL Draft is less than two weeks away and the Buffalo Bills are putting the final touches on their draft preparation. These plans are usually held pretty close this close but a current player might have inadvertently let their plan slip.

The Bills are currently set to pick near the end of the first round with the 28th pick but if Von Miller is correct, fans won't have to wait that long to find out who the next player will be to join the team. Recently, Miller shared on Instagram this video with the text "Brandon Beane arriving to the 2024 NFL Draft to trade up for a WR".

Von Miller has stated on multiple occasions that he would like to be a general manager after his career as a player comes to an end. It wouldn't be surprising if Miller has been involved in these meetings and could have some 'insider information' about what the plans might be.

How far would the Buffalo Bills trade up for a wide receiver in the NFL Draft?

The first thought when seeing something like this is that the Bills are trading up to be in a position to select one of the Big 3 wide receivers. This group includes Marvin Harrison Jr., Rome Odunze, and Malik Nabers and all three are expected to be game-changing receivers in the NFL.

However, for the Bills to move all the way up to be in a position to select one of these three would require multiple draft picks, particularly first and second-round picks. It doesn't seem like Beane would want to invest that much draft capital in one player.

While Miller mentions trading up for a wide receiver, he doesn't indicate the Bills are making that drastic of a move. The more likely scenario is the Bills would move up into the late teens, or early 20s in terms of picks in the first round to draft someone like Brian Thomas Jr.

The former LSU wide receiver seems to be the fourth-best wide receiver in this class and wouldn't cost the Bills as much in terms of draft picks to get a trade done to select him.

Brandon Beane has shown he is willing to move up if there is a player he wants and fans might have to tune in for the entire first round to see when the Buffalo Bills make their pick.
