Wide Receivers (7)
Khalil Shakir, Curtis Samuel, Keon Coleman, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Chase Claypool, Mack Hollins, Justin Shorter
Without question, the focus this offseason has been on the wide receiver position, and the Buffalo Bills are probably going to have to cut at least half of the 13 receivers they currently have on the roster before the start of the season. During minicamp each receiver seemed to have their moment, except Khalil Shakir who left practice on Tuesday with an injury and didn't return.
Shakir isn't in jeopardy of losing his spot and should be a starter for this season. At the top of the depth chart, he likely will be joined by Curtis Samuel and Keon Coleman while Marquez Valdes-Scantling plays significant snaps but might not be a starter.
After these four is really where the position battle starts and there are a number of players vying for spots. The challenge is that it isn't clear how many spots are available as it could be as few as one but as many as three.
When considering how unsettled the position is, it would make sense for the coaching staff to go on the higher end and seven wide receivers is certainly possible. In that scenario, the final three are Claypool, Hollins, and last year's fifth-round pick Justin Shorter.
