The Buffalo Bills officially put a close to their offseason workouts with the end of minicamp on Thursday. In a little over a month from now, the Bills will begin training camp and that is when preparation really ramps up for the 2024 season.

Between now and their first game of the 2024 season against the Arizona Cardinals, the Bills are going to have to cut their roster almost in half down to the league-mandated 53 players. They will use training camp and the preseason to try and figure out what the best roster will look like with the players currently under contract.

While plenty can change, at this point of the offseason, these are the projections on what that might look like.

Quarterbacks (2)

Josh Allen, Mitchell Trubisky

There are no changes here and there shouldn't be over the next few months. The Bills are almost certain to go into the season with Josh Allen and Mitchell Trubisky as their quarterbacks on the 53-man roster, although they probably wish they had room to also keep Shane Buechele.

However, there are other positions that are going to need the depth and they won't have the luxury of keeping three quarterbacks on the roster. Buechele should be brought back on the practice squad as long as another team doesn't add him after he is released.
