New England Patriots trade for Tee Higgins

Another team that has gotten off to a slow start is the Cincinnati Bengals, who lost their first two games of the season, and their star quarterback, Joe Burrow, is dealing with a calf injury from training camp that he re-injured in Week 2.

The Bengals were considered a Super Bowl favorite and it doesn't seem likely that they would go into a full rebuild. However, one player who they could look to trade is wide receiver Tee Higgins.

The 24-year old wide receiver is in the final season of his rookie contract and it doesn't look like the Bengals will re-sign him after the season. He is a talented wide receiver who certainly has the ability to be a number one wide receiver in an offense.

Meanwhile, the Patriots are desperately looking for that type of wide receiver with a bunch of good number two wide receivers, like DeVante Parker and Kendrick Bourne. If the Patriots were to trade for Higgins, it would be a tremendous boost for this passing game and give Mac Jones that top target that he needs.
