5. Running back

I would not be a big fan of this sort of deal unless it was for Christian McCaffrey, which we all know is not going to happen. I would have wanted this deal a year ago and from all the reports, the Bills were one of the teams interested. However, now with James Cook in his second year and playing well, this is not a position I think the Bills will pursue or even should.

Two names that have been linked to the Bills though are Tennessee Titans' Derrick Henry and the New York Giants' Saquan Barkley. Both of these players are nearing 30 and have a lot of wear and tear on those tires. No thanks, plus the Bills aren't a run-first team, so adding a franchise running back for ten carries a game, doesn't make sense to me.
