2. Cornerback

The Bills cornerback room is pretty top heavy for 2024 with Rasul Douglas and Christian Benford. But outside of that, they have Kaiir Elam and Ja'Marcus Ingram as the depth behind Douglas and Benford. Ingram has yet to play in any meaningful game, and Elam has yet to meet expectations as a first-round draft pick in 2022. The questions for cornerback aren't just for Elam and Ingram, but also the starters in Douglas and Benford. Benford has been banged up most of his career and has missed games, and Douglas was banged up in the last game of the year for 2023, the divisional game against the Chiefs.

Not only was Douglas banged up, but he is an older cornerback at 30+ years old. Douglas also had his contract restructured, but did not get an extension with the Bills, so it doesn't seem the Bills are committed long term to Douglas. Not only do the Bills have question marks throughout their cornerback room, but they also lost some depth as well. Dane Jackson was solid depth for the Bills and was lost to free agency to the Carolina Panthers, so that is also another blow to this cornerback room. The Bills should definitely address cornerback very early in this 2025 NFL Draft, or at the very least consider double dipping at that position.
