3. Week 15: Buffalo Bills 31, Dallas Cowboys 10

The defense stood tall once again for the Bills who dominated a then red-hot Dallas Cowboys team in week 15. The secondary for Buffalo was able to hold opposing quarterback Dak Prescott to minimal yardage to avoid Dallas living off of the big play which had been their bread and butter on offense up until that point. Prescott averaged below 4 yards per throw that game.

Even when the Cowboys looked to running back Tony Pollard, the Buffalo defense was able to keep any big plays he could produce to a minimum. Pollard averaged below 5 yards per carry and was not a threat in Dallas' passing game with just 2 catches for 5 yards.

All of this also accumulated to an inefficient night on third down for Dallas who went 5-13 in those scenarios.

Meanwhile, Buffalo's offense was able to take advantage of the Cowboys blunders in offense with a great game of their own with over 350 total yards while Allen threw only 15 pass attempts.

Cook was the real story offensively running the ball with his best game of his career with 179 yards averaging 7.2 per carry. His counterparts in the run game Latavius Murray and Allen were both able to find the endzone with touchdowns of their own.
