Tua Tagovailoa misses games for the Miami Dolphins
Early last season, the Miami Dolphins looked like one of the best offenses in the league and the duo of Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill were working exactly as the Dolphins hoped. However, the offense clearly struggled towards the end of the season Tua Tagovailoa was in and out of the lineup due to concussions.
Even before entering the NFL, injuries have been a concern for Tagovailoa after suffering a hip injury in his final season with the Alabama Crimson Tide. The Dolphins would still draft him fifth overall in the 2020 NFL Draft as he has yet to play a full regular season with injuries in each of his first three seasons.
The Dolphins have certainly tried to limit the impact if Tagovailoa is to miss time by signing Mike White this offseason, who was impressive last year with the New York Jets. However, the Dolphins had Teddy Bridgewater as a backup last season and he was not able to keep the offense at the same level when Tagovailoa is under center.
In what should be a tight race, if Tua Tagovailoa is forced to miss any time, even one game, that could be enough of an edge for the Buffalo Bills to win their fourth straight division title.
