Stefon Diggs sends a crystal clear message to Josh Allen in first press conference with Texans

That was unexpected.

The Buffalo Bills traded Stefon Diggs, ending that era of Bills football. Diggs won't be catching passes from Josh Allen anymore and will now catch passes from C.J. Stroud in Houston.

Diggs spoke to the media on Tuesday and has nothing but love for his former quarterback. That might not be the direction you thought this article was going in but Diggs gave Allen a ton of props, noting that he's still his guy and he has "a lot of love for him". He also mentioned that Allen was "instrumental" to his career.

The Bills traded for Diggs in the 2020 offseason and he and Allen immediately made great things happen on the field. Diggs finished with at least 1,100 yards in each of his four seasons in Buffalo but the problem was that the Bills failed to make it to the Super Bowl during that time. Diggs would usually cause offseason drama and it made sense for the team to trade him and get that contract off the books.

Despite Diggs running his mouth a lot during his time in Buffalo, it was nice to hear him say nice things about Allen. The two did put up video game-like numbers together and the offense is going to look different in 2024, that's for sure.

Once the season gets underway, Bills fans probably won't care too much about what Diggs is doing with his new team but hey, we're in the offseason and there's not much to talk about.
