Should Buffalo Bills re-sign A.J. Epenesa or Leonard Floyd?

The Buffalo Bills pass rush was pretty effective for a majority of the year and that was without Von Miller contributing much. The reason was the signing of free agent Leonard Floyd last offseason and the development of A.J. Epenesa.

Floyd was the Bills best pass rusher last year and finished the year with 10.5 sacks, which tied his career high, and 19 QB hits while playing only 54% of the defensive snaps.

As for A.J. Epenesa, he was a second round pick by the Bills in 2020 but it wasn't until the past two seasons that he has really made an impact. He has had 6.5 sacks and 10 QB hits in each of the past two seasons but one that sets him apart is the way he disrupts passing lanes with five passes defended in 2022 and then a career-high of eight this year, including two interceptions.

Unfortunately for the Bills, both players are set to be free agents this offseason and it seems unlikely they will be able to bring back both. There isn't a clear answer but both players have a case to be made for another contract from Buffal.
