Weeks 9-12 for the Buffalo Bills

Week 9.) @ Cincinnati Bengals - Sunday Night

A rematch of the AFC Divisional Round game from last season, this is a matchup that everyone should be watching. The Buffalo Bills clearly were not themselves the last time they played the Bengals.

Joe Burrow and his offense will look to capitalize on the weaknesses of the Bills defense, while Allen will have to face a defense that chased him around in the snow last year. In this highly anticipated game, the Bengals get the best of the Bills.

Record: 7-2

Week 10.) vs Denver Broncos - Monday Night

The newly revamped Broncos led by head coach Sean Payton flies to Orchard Park for a Monday night game against the Bills. The Broncos offense last year was mediocre at best. With Payton in charge, that is expected to change. Even though Russell Wilson had a major down year, we all know that Wilson is not what he was in 2022. Not to mention, the Broncos also had one of the top defensive units.

I have mentioned before that the Broncos could be one of the best defensive units that the Bills will face this season. If all goes as expected for the Broncos this season, they will be in the playoff hunt and back to relevancy. In this primetime game, the Bills drop this matchup to lose their second straight game.

Record: 7-3

Week 11.) vs New York Jets

In their first matchup in week one, I had the Bills defeating the Jets in MetLife to start 1-0 on the season. This is the part of the season where we can almost tell who will be a playoff team and who will have to fight for that last wild card spot. Division games are always the toughest to play, but because this game will be in Buffalo, that gives the Bills the edge.

In this Josh Allen vs. Aaron Rodgers 2.0 matchup, the Bills end up getting the season sweep against the Jets and get back into the win column.

Record: 8-3

Week 12.) @ Philadelphia Eagles

In one of the toughest stadiums to play in the NFL, the Bills take a quick trip down to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles. Jalen Hurts is officially the franchise quarterback after signing a five-year, $255 million dollar deal.

They loaded up talent in the draft by acquiring three Georgia Bulldogs in defensive tackle Jalen Carter, linebacker Nolan Smith and cornerback Kelee Ringo. They also acquired running back D’Andre Swift.

This Eagles roster is stacked in talent, but they will have brand new coordinators on both sides of the ball. Given that the Eagles are arguably the best team in the NFC, they should be the favorite against the Bills. In a very physical game between these two, the Eagles come out on top to give the Bills their fourth loss on the season.

Record: 8-4
