Dean Marlowe
Dean Marlowe knows this defense well dating back to 2016 when Sean McDermott was defensive coordinator with the Carolina Panthers. He would join the Bills practice squad in 2017 before playing two regular season games in 2018.
He would remain with Buffalo through the 2020 season primarily as a special teams player. Marlowe would leave in free agency to sign with the Detroit Lions and after a brief stop with the Atlanta Falcons, the Bills would trade for him during the season last year.
Marlowe recently signed a one-year deal to return to the Buffalo Bills but he faces an uphill battle at safety with the Bills already having Micah Hyde, Jordan Poyer, Taylor Rapp, and Damar Hamlin. In the past, the Bills have only had four safeties on the 53-man roster and if that doesn't change, he probably will be cut before the regular season but similar to Murray be re-signed to the practice squad.
