1. New York Jets, Weeks 6 and 17

Even though the Jets finished third in the division last year in the AFC East, it wasn't because of their defense. In fact, had it not been for their defense, they would have probably finished dead last.

As mentioned before, Robert Saleh is a great defensive mind who was part of an elite defense in San Francisco when he was the 49ers defensive coordinator. He brought that same defensive mentality to the Jets and turned the dial to 11 with this team.

There isn't a single deficiency in this defense on paper, and if there is, it would be in the safety position. Even then, they have solid safety play who would probably be above-average starters on another team.

With that being said, they have one of the best cornerback tandems in the league in Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed, one of the best defensive tackles in the league in Quinnen Williams, one of the better linebacker duos in Quincy Williams and C.J. Mosley, oh and while they lost Bryce Huff to free agency, they replaced him with Haason Reddick. That is arguably an upgrade.

With all of this being said, this is the top defense the Bills will face. Not just because they are a top 2 defense, but they know the Bills all too well and are almost essentially Josh Allen's kryptonite.
