Ranking the Buffalo Bills most important ‘Newcomers’ entering playoffs

Heading into the 2023 playoffs, the Bills most important players are pretty obvious. But which new Bills can have the greatest impact on the team's Super Bowl aspirations as they enter Sunday's opening matchup against the Steelers?

2. Rasul Douglas

The Bills lone trade deadline acquisition has been impressive. Since coming over from Green Bay, cornerback Rasul Douglas is amongst the NFL's takeaway leaders, recording four interceptions and two fumble recoveries in the past seven games.

When the Bills defense endured a stretch where they were lacking in 'splash plays', they acquired a defensive back who fit perfectly into their system — and he's been able to play arguably the best football of his career.

While Douglas suffered a minor knee injury that could hold him out of this Sunday's game against the Steelers, he is expected to miss minimal time should the Bills advance to the second round of the postseason and beyond. In that case, they would likely play some dangerous quarterbacks and having their top cornerback on the field would go a long way toward capturing the Lombardi Trophy.

The Bills will be hoping Douglas can get healthy and make Bills Mafia shout, once again, this postseason.
