2. Ladd McConkey, WR (Georgia)

The general consensus is that the Buffalo Bills desperately need a wide receiver and if that is solely the focus then Ladd McConkey is the best player currently available for Brandon Beane. McConkey has good athletic traits but where he excels is as a route runner that helps create the big separation from defenders.

His production at Georgia was modest with only 119 receptions, 1,687 receiving yards, and 14 touchdowns over three seasons. However, this was more due to the offense he was playing in versus a reflection on the player.

The Bills are not going to find another Stefon Diggs at this point of the NFL Draft but McConkey brings a similar skill set. Diggs excelled as a route runner and played that inside/outside role at wide receiver for the Bills that allowed him to line up all over.

McConkey can fill a similar role and is a reliable pass catcher that it wouldn't be surprising to see him getting close to 100 receptions each season in the near future with Josh Allen throwing him the ball.
