Ranking the AFC East based on the teams under the most pressure to win in 2024

1.) New York Jets
That’s right, you read that correctly. The New York Jets, who have finished in 3rd or 4th place in the division every year since 2016 have the most pressure to win the AFC East in 2024. When Joe Douglas decided to trade for Aaron Rodgers last offseason, it set the bar high for expectations for the Jets.
On the fourth play of the 2023 season for the Jets against the Bills, the biggest nightmare for the Jets came to life when Rodgers suffered a season-ending injury to his achilles. It’s a new season now, and the Jets did not lose anyone major this offseason and will get Rodgers back.
Not to mention, the Jets have one of the most brutal early schedules in 2024. They are tied for the most primetime games this season, meaning that they will have all the attention on them under the lights. The Jets are “all in” with no true success plan beyond the 2024 season.
Robert Saleh is coaching for his job as well so if the Jets have another failure of a season, New York could look like a totally different football team after next season.
