Ranking the 5 best running backs the Buffalo Bills will face in 2024

3.) Kyren Williams - Week 14
For the first time since 2016, the Los Angeles Rams were finally able to pick in the first round of the NFL Draft last month where they selected Jared Verse out of Florida State. However, the Rams have been one of the best teams in terms of drafting in the second round and beyond. Despite not having a first-round pick for the longest time, they still find a way to draft well in the later rounds. The notable players that they have been able to draft outside of the first round include wide receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua, defensive tackle Kobie Turner, and then there is running back Kyren Williams.
Williams was drafted by the Rams in the 5th round of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Notre Dame. Last season, Williams only played in 12 games (starting in 11 of them), but still managed to rush for 1,144 yards and 12 touchdowns. After missing four games from Week 7 to Week 11, Williams would come back into the Rams’ lineup and rush for over 100+ yards in four of his last six games (as well as two games of 80+ yards).
When healthy, Williams is a force in LA’s offense. One thing to consider going into this season is that the Rams drafted Michigan running back Blake Corum so that could impact Williams’ game. However, we won’t know anything until the season starts so as it stands, Williams is the main back for the Rams.
