When you look at the Buffalo Bills’ 2024 opponents, there are some highly talented running backs that will have to stop which is never easy. Last season, the Bills were in the middle of the pack at stopping the run. In five of their first six games, they gave up over 100 rushing yards including two games of 170+ yards. This offseason, the Bills managed to re-sign DaQuan Jones and they drafted DeWayne Carter to help out the middle of the trenches with Ed Oliver.

The Bills will take on five specific running backs who are near the top of the league and can take over a game. Four out of five of these running backs ran for over 1,000 yards last season and will be looking to repeat their performance next season.

Here are the five best running backs the Bills will face in 2024.

5.) Jonathan Taylor - Week 10

Being the only running back on this list of not having to rush for 1,000 yards last season, Jonathan Taylor is still a physical runner who ended the regular season on a 188 rushing yard performance. After contract disputes and an injury last season, Taylor is now the near future starter for the Colts. The last time the Colts faced the Bills, Taylor put on a big time show against Buffalo’s defense. He ran the ball 32 times for 185 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. He would also add on a receiving touchdown.

The Bills are going to need to make sure that Taylor doesn’t have another one of those performances when they take on the Colts.
